Covid-19 has placed an enormous responsibility on businesses to ensure the safety and protection of staff, suppliers and clients. Auto Magic has implemented stringent protocols in accordance with those set out by the World Health Organisation and the Government of South Africa. These protocols are standardised across all branches and include measures such as training, hygiene and sanitisation, personal protective equipment and social distancing. We have also gone to great length to ensure that all vehicles entering and leaving the premises are sanitised and safe for the protection of both the clients and staff.
Every vehicle is subjected to a stage sanitisation process.

Cleaning and Sanitising Materials Used
Corona viruses, despite their infectious propensity, are not hardy viruses by nature. The virus’ composition is such that it relies on a lipid envelope for survival outside of a host. A lipid is best described as a fatty layer. This fatty layer is particularly vulnerable to soaps and alcohols and once damaged or broken down, the virus will not live for more than a few minutes at best. Generally, any solution that breaks down fatty substances will be effective in the control of corona viruses. The choice of solution will therefore be one that does not pose a risk to polymers as this is what virtually all internal surface areas in a vehicle, other than glass and conductors, are made of.
Disposable soft cloth or microfiber cloth
Soap suitable for automotive applications and water with the water being at least at room temperature
